Khloé Kardashian says she was misadvised about declawing cats

Khloé Kardashian has shared her regret after declawing her cats, revealing that she was "misadvised" about the process.

On her podcast, Khloé In Wonder Land, the 41-year-old said that her act came from a place of ignorance.

"I was really misadvised about getting my cats declawed," she shared on the May 20 episode of her podcast.

"I've never owned cats before. I didn't even know that was a thing. I feel really, really terrible that I did go in this direction.

"I feel like that's why my cats are miserable and it was at my doing."

Kardashian owns two cats, Grey Kitty and Baby Kitty, and described their behaviour as erratic and chaotic.

She said that after declawing, she took steps to ensure the cats' safety.

"My cats wear air tags, like they're not allowed to even go near a door. I'm so afraid if they get out, because they have no way to defend themselves. They've lost their protection tools, so it makes me sad."

The reality star opened up about the struggle she had trying to get her cats to get along.

She shared that she first got Grey Kitty, who was a "saint of a cat. Never did anything wrong", and so decided to get a second cat, Baby Kitty.

As soon as she did, Grey Kitty became territorial and began urinating on their beds and causing chaos.

She tried all the tips and tricks the vet and breeder suggested, such as using a pheromone collar, but it was no use.

Eventually she "had to put cameras to see which cat was doing it. I found it was Baby Kitty," who began mimicking Grey Kitty's behaviour.

"Grey Kitty is back to being an angel, and now I have Baby Kitty, who's a demon right now," the entrepreneur shared.

"What do I do? Cuz I can't live like this. I don't know what to do," the star asked her fans.

"The vet and the breeder, everyone's like, 'We've never seen a cat do this. We've never seen a cat do this for this long.' They've given me all the suggestions, all the tips, but also if she's not happy, I don't know what to do.

"I am in an animal circus," she said.

Kardashian also owns a black Labrador named Peppermint, adopting the pup for her family for Christmas in 2025.
