Sophie Delezio's cute gender reveal during baby shower

Sophie Delezio and her fiancé, Joseph Salerno, have enjoyed a special baby shower with family and friends.

The expecting couple shared photos and videos to social media after the occasion, revealing the gender of their child.

Salerno is seen busting open a small confetti cannon in one black and white clip, which turns to colour part way through, revealing blue bits of paper falling to the floor.

Delezio runs onto the patio behind her fiancé, dancing about in excitement and pats her baby bump.

"It's a…BOY!!," the 23-year-old excitedly told followers.

"We can't wait to welcome you to the world little man! Your mum and dad are so excited to meet you."

The couple changed from white outfits to blue for the remainder of the cupcake-filled party.

The high school sweethearts announced their engagement in 2023 before revealing their pregnancy in April this year.

"The greatest gift of all coming in September!," Delezio captioned a post on Instagram showing her growing baby bump captured during a pregnancy photoshoot.

Delezio survived two near-fatal incidents as a young child, bringing her to headlines across the country on multiple occasions.

The burns victim survived a 2003 incident when a car crashed through her childcare centre on Sydney's northern beaches when she was just two years old and when she was five years old, she survived a car accident.

Delezio has remained in the spotlight ever since and is now a journalist.
