This 'rainbow' photoshoot with newborn sextuplets is cuteness overload

Newborn photoshoots are sweet enough when there’s just one baby involved. But when there are six of them, things get dangerously cute.
Alabama couple Courtney and Eric Waldrop welcomed their sextuplets in December last year, growing their family of five to a brood of 11.

The babies, three girls and three boys, were less than 30 weeks’ gestation at birth and have been gradually coming home after receiving extended care in hospital.
Now, the two-month-old sextuplets have posed for their first professional photoshoot, bundled up in all the colours of the rainbow (well, almost).
In the adorable images by photographer Ashley Sargent, the babies are arranged in order of birth - from left to right, Blu, Layke, Rawlings, Rayne, Tag, and Rivers.

A few days later, the babies were joined by their older brothers Saylor, Wales and Bridge for a photoshoot with the entire family.
Sharing the beautiful results on her Facebook page, Sargent praised the Waldrops' humility.

“If there is ever to be a greater family than the infamous Pearson Family from This Is Us, I dare to say it’s the Waldrops,” she writes.
“Let me tell you about this family - they are strong, they are resilient, and they are the absolute most positive family you'll ever meet.”

Courtney and Eric Waldrop always wanted a big family, and that dream has certainly come true - but their path to parenthood wasn’t an easy one.
The couple, who have been together since middle school, underwent fertility treatments after Courtney experienced several miscarriages.

When Courtney discovered she was expecting sextuplets last year, she and Eric didn’t know what to think - or what to do.
“I was scared to death,” Courtney told PEOPLE at the time.

“I’m a smaller framed girl, and my first thoughts were on how I was going to successfully get six kids here without something happening to them or me.”
The six babies were delivered via cesarean section on December 11.

"They're oh so very little but absolutely perfect! May take a few more days for me to recover. But it was all worth it."
