Why Pink doesn't hire a nanny for her kids while she's on tour

Pink is a pop superstar with an estimated worth of more than $140 million, but when it comes to being a mum, she tries to keep things as hands-on as possible.
 
In a new interview with Redbook magazine, the 'What About Us' singer, 38, explains why she doesn't hire a nanny for Willow, six, and Jameson, one, when she’s on tour.

“I've never juggled so many damn plates in my life, but it's because I want to. I enjoy it,” she says.

“If I had nannies raising my kids and just wanted to be a rock star and party all the time, I wouldn't be successful and I wouldn't be happy.”

Pink’s Instagram feed is a testament to her dedication to balancing her demanding music career with her life as a mum.

The Grammy winning vocalist, who is married to former motocross champion Carey Hart, has gone on tour with her family several times.

She’s often shared glimpses of their life on the road, Instagramming photos and videos of intimate moments with her kids that take place on the tour bus and backstage.

In one short clip shared earlier this year, Pink can be seen doing “pre show warm ups” with her baby son lying on her stomach.

Another depicts Willow rollerblading around an empty arena during show rehearsals.

Pink's kids are in tow during her current Beautiful Trauma tour, but says the moment the on-the-road lifestyle becomes too much for them, she'll put an end to it.

"I'd say it's 95 per cent positive.”
