Dr Justin Coulson reveals how to manage sibling rivalry
Every parent with more than one child will experience some form of conflict. It's unavoidable.
However, conflict isn't always bad. According to parenting expert Dr Justin Coulson, it can allow us to clarify our values and teach us the importance of repair and forgiveness.
"But conflict can be a problem if no one learns from it and relationships deteriorate," he tells 9Honey Parenting. "As a parent, there are a few things you can do to reduce the amount of conflict and how bad it gets."

"Number one - be a good example, and model the behaviour you want your kids to adopt even when things are tense. Don't get in there and start fighting with the kids and elevating your emotions!
Dr Coulson adds: "Stay calm and be clear."
