Dr Justin Coulson shares his homework tips
Some kids love it, but the majority would be very, very happy to leave it. Homework is the cause of stress and arguments in most families - but Parenting Expert Dr Justin Coulson says it doesn't have to be that way.
"Research shows that not all homework is created equal and most homework isn't worth doing," he says.
"In fact, there is no good evidence around the world to support homework for our kids up until the high school years."
However, as most parents want their children to do the homework set by teachers, Dr Coulson shared three ways to make the process less stressful.
"If you're not brave enough to let your primary school aged kids quit homework altogether, or if your kids are a bit older, here are three other tips to help with homework hassles."
