Khloé Kardashian opens up about challenging surrogacy journey: 'Such a control freak'

Khloé Kardashian has opened up about her challenging surrogacy journey to have to second child.

The reality star, 38, welcomed her son (whose name is yet to be made public) who she shares with ex-partner Tristan Thompson in August. They also share daughter True, four.

After carrying True, the youngest of the Kardashian sisters said her penchant for being a "control freak" made it difficult to fully trust the surrogacy process.

Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Khloé said she would never have considered surrogacy had it not been for watching big sister Kim go through the process to have her youngest children Chicago and Psalm.

"If it wasn't for Kimberly, I definitely wouldn't have been as comfortable," the Good American co-creator explained. "I watched her go through her journey, and I'm so grateful about how open she's always been."

Sharing that she "had reasons" why she wasn't able to carry her second child, Khloé said it was "such a blessing" to have had the option available to her.

However, she admitted she found the reality of someone else carrying her child more confronting than Kim.

"I think her journey was way more... it was just more comfortable for her. I'm such a control freak," she said.

"You're a stranger, I just have to trust you. I love my surrogate, she was amazing. But I'm still like, 'I need you sitting next to me all the time. What are you doing? What are you eating?'."

Khloé also revealed she was done having children, saying now she had one boy and one girl, her family felt complete.

"I wanted both, and I think I'm good, shop is closed. I have one of each," she said. "One of each. It's exciting."
