'The joys of pregnancy': Purple Wiggle John's wife cuts her engagement ring off on their anniversary
John and Jessie Pearce celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in an unusual way.
The couple, who are pregnant with their first bub who is due in December, spent the milestone occasion with a trip to the jeweller - but they weren't doing any shopping.
Nope, turns out the 'joys of pregnancy' are really taking over and they were actually there to get her engagement ring cut off.

"The joys of pregnancy – happy third trimester," she captioned the post on Instagram.
Anyone who's been pregnant knows the swelling can be insane and things like jewellery can get stuck.
Jessie sat down at the jeweller who used a cutter to crack the band, releasing the pressure on her finger.
"Cutting off my ring on our fifth anniversary," read the text on the video.
She left the jeweller sporting a very unglamorous band-aid on her finger instead of a diamond, which they both laughed about.

John, who is best known as the Purple Wiggle, cheekily commented on the post, "At least we saved the wedding band".
Others laughed at how relatable it was, with one person replying, "Ohh been there."
They did manage to squeeze in some lovely celebrations as well and enjoyed a lunch at Catalina in Rose Bay too.

It seems as though they're really soaking up every last minute together before their family grows.
The couple jetted off on a luxurious babymoon to Fiji, sharing some gorgeous snaps from their time with their followers.

In June the couple announced they were pregnant.
"It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us. We are so full of joy and can't wait to meet you - baby Adamo Pearce due Dec 2024," they captioned the announcement on Instagram.
In the video, which documented some of the pregnancy so far, the couple slipped in their gender reveal and shared they were having a little boy.

Their road to pregnancy wasn't easy, and in a recent post for PCOS awareness, Jessie revealed the couple went through a miscarriage last year.
She shared their story in the hopes that it would make others going through a similar situation feel less alone.
John and Jessie started dating in 2012 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2019.
