WATCH: Little girl's rant over the staggering cost of a park ice cream

We're all feeling the cost of living crunch right now, but some of us are taking it harder than others. 

Marnie and Myrah, eight-year-old twins from Burnley in England, got quite a shock when they went to buy a couple of ice creams in a local park and let rip about it. 

The pair, who have become viral sensations thanks to their extremely relatable response to the cost, and the fact that the ice cream man didn't accept cash either.

"So, there's an ice cream van there, selling two ice creams for nine quid – bloody nine pounds (approx. $A17) for two of them," Marnie said.

The TikTok video posted by her aunt Karis has been viewed over 18.1 million times. 

"Nine quid! He's going to get nowhere with that, he should know," she continued. 

"And he only does bloody card! I'm stood there with my cash, bloody hell!"

Marnie was not impressed and wasn't fussed if he could hear her or not either. 

"Bet he can hear me," she continued as they walked off, giving an eyeroll towards the direction of the icecream truck. 

Karis replied to a comment and explained what really topped it off was not being able to pay for the ice creams in cash. 

"She were fuming at the fact it were nine quid but when he said he doesn't accept cash I think that topped it off for her hahahah," she wrote.

The post has hit close to home for a lot of people who agree that the cost is ridiculous. 

"Jokes aside 9 pound for 2 ice creams is crazy," wrote one TikToker. 

Another commented, "Even the kids are affected by this cost of living." 

"I'm with her on this i wouldn't stand for £9 either," commented one person. 

Others just could not get over the girls' accents and the passion behind Marnie when she explained what was going on.

But some users also noticed a similarity in looks to Emma Watson and couldn't believe how much the little girl looked like the star.
