When you're a parent, it feels like there's always an endless pile of washing to do.

But when it comes to washing things like sleep sacks, which we're all using the thickest versions of in the cooler months, it can be a nightmare to get them dry.

Sure, you could have plenty of them to keep on rotation – which would mean less stress about getting them dry – but when the really high TOG-rated ones aren't cheap, not everyone has the luxury for that.

Mum Stacey shared the hack on TikTok revealing that all you need is a coat hanger to help it dry quicker.

When you hang your freshly-washed sleep suit out, unzip the bottom, or the legs, and pop a coat hanger in the bottom.

By opening it up you're giving a chance for more air to get in and circulate, which in turn will get it to dry a lot faster.

"You know how these sleep suits always take forever to dry? If you put a coat hanger in the bottom, they dry quicker," she said in the short video.

She also revealed how she hangs up her wet laundry, showing all of the clothing items on coathangers and joked if you aren't doing this already, you're doing washing wrong.

The simple tip means your clothes will be ready to hang straight up when they're dry – meaning no one is spending hours sorting and folding it all.

"OMGGGG BEST HACK," replied another mum.

But there was one mum who admitted she just throws them straight in the dryer – which I know I'm guilty of too – but not everyone has a dryer, or wants the electricity bill from running one all through winter.
