Surprise ending at pole-dancing gender reveal celebration

Gender reveal parties have become synonymous with over the top antics, dangerous stunts and sometimes just flat out bizarre behaviour. This is the case for one Moldavian couple who posted their gender reveal to TikTok.

The video reveals the couple elected to have two pole-dancers, one in blue, the other in pink, reveal the gender of their unborn baby. The women perform an impressive routine on a makeshift stage in the parents-to-be backyard.

At the end of the routine one of them pops a balloon near the couple revealing blue sparkles for a boy. The elated dad-to-be then runs and dives into the nearby pool.

The unusual clip gained attention after being posted in a TikTok Cringe subreddit for the bizarre antics, however, viewers were divided.

"Makes sense if mum or dad is a dancer and the dancers are from their troop... Makes literally no sense otherwise," one Redditor said.

Some internet sleuthing reveals the mum-to-be is reportedly the owner of a pole dancing studio and is a coach herself. So the couple have seemingly made the decision to have her friends reveal the gender of their baby through one of the mum-to-be's deepest passions.

"Awful taste but great execution though, it takes some real balance and muscle to pull off the moves those ladies were doing," another Redditor chimed in.
