The 'outdated' baby names for girls that are making a comeback
A US-based baby name consultant has predicted the return of previously outdated names in 2025.
Colleen Slagen, who just last week predicted a new trend for boys in 2025, which she likes to call "my best friend's dad's name", says girls will also be in for the vintage treatment next year.
Slagen, who runs a business called Naming Bebe and has a large following on TikTok and Instagram, is often called upon to discuss the latest baby name trends.

"For girls, Louise, Dorothy, Mabel and Maisie are on the rise," she said.
"Judith and Reggie have also recently been used.
"And for boys, it's Arthur, Archie and Howard."
