Picking the perfect baby name is one of the most difficult parts about becoming a parent, because you want to get it right.
There are so many trends emerging almost weekly now, so there's plenty of inspiration.
But one thing mums and dads-to-be may not have considered is colours.
Now, we're not talking about the basic colours of the rainbow or really obvious ones – these names are a little more modern or unique.
Think: the colours you're not necessarily talking about every day; hues we know and love and will no doubt give a little something special to your little one.

The couple recently welcomed their third bub, another daughter, and have named her Golden.
The name simply means 'Gold' but also comes with a little bit of extra sass, rather than the more feminine Goldie, which has become popular with parents in recent years.
Sterling
It's clear the couple have metallics on their radar, having named their other daughter Sterling Skye.
While most would assume the only link to sterling is the precious metal, it's actually a really lovely gender-neutral choice.
Sterling is traditionally a boy's name of English origin meaning "of the highest quality" but as the Mahomeses have shown, it works just as well for a little girl too.
Sage
It's a delightful herb and a colour that's been trending in fashion and interior design for years, but Sage does fly under the radar as a first name.
The stunning moniker works well for both boys and girls, making it another gender-neutral choice that hits the cool yet not-too-popular vibe a lot of parents are searching for these days.
The name also means "wise and knowing", which adds another really nice layer to it.
Ash

Again, another fantastic gender-neutral choice and, of course, a muted moody colour that also has some big impact too.
Clementine
OK, so no one is going to call their daughter Orange, but can we all agree Clementine is just beautiful.
It nails the vintage name trend that has become very popular with little girls, but also works as a subtle nod to colour without going all-in on something too obvious.
Navy
If gender neutral is your thing, Navy deserves a spot on your list.
While traditionally more common for boys, it's becoming more popular with little girls and is sitting in the Top 500 names for girls in the US.
Obviously inspired by the colour, it's a subtle option for parents who want to add a nod to the ocean without being too on the nose.
