Influencer Emilie Kiser and husband couple get matching tattoos following son's tragic death

Emilie and Brady Kiser have gotten matching tattoos four months after the death of their eldest son Trigg.

The influencer and her husband visited Arizona-based tattoo artist Sydney Smith who shared a video on TikTok of the couple's matching red ink, a fine-line teddy bear in honour of their baby boy Theodore "Teddy" Kiser, who is now six months.

The video featured music from the movie The Adventures of Milo and Otis and the line of the song that can be heard says: "Nevertheless, as if they knew how much they would need each other, Milo and Otis became best friends."

The clip begins with Emilie and Brady showing themselves getting individual teddy bear tattoos and culminates in the pair pressing their arms closely to show them side-by-side.

Emilie also has a tattoo of the name of her eldest son, simple italic ink that reads "Trigg" on her arm on the right side of her new teddy bear tattoo.

Emilie, 26, and Brady, 29, lost their three-year-old son Trigg in May, after he fell into the family's backyard pool and drowned.

Chandler Police Department submitted a criminal charge recommendation for Brady, who was home when the incident occurred.

However, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office ultimately decided against pursuing charges.

Emilie broke her silence on Trigg's death in August, sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram.

"Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words," she wrote.

"I've spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I've needed to digest the loss of my baby.

"Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly."

She returned to TikTok on September 20, wearing a necklace that read, "Trigg."

"I have missed getting to chat with you guys everyday," she said.

"I really do love this community we have here, and I hope that in coming back and sharing what I choose to, I can reconnect with you guys and, hopefully, help anyone going through a similar situation.

"I have been offline for the last little bit. I'm just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out. I'm just taking it day by day. I'm going to do the same with my content."

Emilie also thanked fans for their messages of support to her and Brady following Trigg's death.

"I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and support on my most recent post. I have been truly blown away by the love, comfort, and support," she wrote.

"I appreciate so many of you sharing your similar experiences and your own stories of how you have dealt with grief and loss.

"The internet can be such a dark place, and in moments like this I am reminded how much good there can be in the support and community that we can all give each other. If anyone who follows me or reads this is dealing with loss, I just want to say that I am here for you and I hope you are getting the love and support you need."

Emilie and Brady Kiser first found fame sharing daily family vlogs on TikTok, many of which featured Trigg and later, Teddy.

Emilie currently has 4.7m followers.

A pinned post shows the couple welcoming Teddy and one heartfelt video shows Trigg and Teddy lying in bed with their father Brady during happier times.
