A mum has shared her eight-year-old daughter’s heart-warming letter to Santa Claus.
And the spirit of Christmas is very much alive.
Diana Prado described the moment she found the note, written by her eight-year-old daughter Nadia Prado, saying: “When I found it, my heart melted, and I cried”.
The note read:
“Dear Santa Claus,
Since you’ve been giving us presents every year, this year I ask for nothing.
I have toys, a home, family and love.
So this year I want to make you something.
Tell me what you want this year and I’ll make it.
Love Nadia.”
Posting on Facebook to Love What Matters, Diana wrote:
“There are times that we doubt ourselves as parents. There are times that we wonder if we’re doing a good enough job raising good people,”
“There are times that we doubt ourselves as parents,” she continued. “There are times that we wonder if we’re doing a good enough job raising people.”
“She has learned that family is everything and love is more important than gifts under a tree.”
The post was shared almost 4000 times, showing many others were also touched by the letter.
“What a wonderful caring daughter,” one person comments.
“Bless your beautiful daughter and her beautiful soul,” another added.
