A Canadian woman has shared a series of disturbing messages sent to her after she tried to reschedule a date.

The pair had met on a dating app and texted for five days before making plans to meet.

It's when the woman attempted to reschedule due to illness that his true colours began to show.

The woman's name is Lyssa and she has shared the text exchange on TikTok @xolyssarosexo as a warning to others.

She posts the first video along with the caption: "PSA…. Be careful of strangers and listen to your gut!!! He was completely normal before this and it gets worse."

The text exchange begins with Lyssa attempting to reschedule their planned meet up due to illness.

He responds by saying: "Can I please see you tonight. I really like you. This won't get ruined."

She doesn't respond to this so he then texts: "Don't bail. I really believe we can be something amazing also. And you don't have anything to worry about."

At this stage Lyssa says: "It has nothing to do with you."

But he still won't take no for an answer, with his messages become increasingly angry and paranoid.

In one he says: "Obviously you don't like me so whatever."

In another he writes: "Alright you know I can't sit here and beg you. I learned awhile back if someone doesn't want you or what [sic] to see you. Then just let them go.

"Never beg for them to want you or to see you," he continues. "Obviously you made your choice and have no interest in seeing how amazing this could be. I'm definitely pretty hurt though."

She say: "I'm sorry but this is really just too intense for me, if you had said I understand, what's another good day for you? I probably would."

This seems to anger him even more. He says: "So yo lied. You really don't like me and don't see this as being anything obviously."

She answers: "Because all I said was I didn't feel like going out yesterday and you won't stop texting."

"This was a game," he says. "Like I really fell for you then this."

She responds: "How? We only texted for 5 days and never met." She adds: "Just please stop texting me, those qualities aren't what I'm looking for."

Still, he continues.

"What qualities?" he asks.

She say: "Stop texting me." She adds: "It's been 5 days, this is insane."

At one point he says: "So no date?"

He also taunts her by asking why she hasn't blocked his number. When she answers it is for proof of his harassment he tries to defend his behaviour.
