Kids ruin couple's grand wedding entrance in viral TikTok

Suzy Monzer

A video of a group of children running in front of a bride and groom during their big entrance has sparked a massive debate.

The video, posted on TikTok by the bride and captioned "thanks for the entry", amassed 17 million views before being deleted.

It shows the couple enter the wedding hall from the main doors, following a path lined by red carpet.

While they enter, another couple walks in via a side door, followed by a group of six kids.

As the couple stand to the side, the kids rush into the hall, overtaking the bride and groom and directly crossing the red carpet lining the path.

This stunt delayed the grand entrance, and the couple can be seen in the video trying to continue their entry but being repeatedly interrupted as all six kids cross over to the other side of the carpet, one by one.

It is not clear if the couple that stood to the side are the parents of these children, however that didn't stop TikTok users from blasting them with insults.

"I always wonder with these kinds of things, what were the parents thinking? So many of these situations, a parent should be stepping in," one commenter wrote.

"Get a damn sitter. It's not you day, it's the brides. She's not selfish, these parents are," said another.

Others moved away from criticising the parents and were debating whether children should be at weddings at all.

One commenter said, "Kids don't need to be at every event. Weddings included, especially when they behave like this."
