Five ways you can save $28 a day

1. Buy lunch, coffee every other day only

There's no need to cut out bought lunches and coffees overall. We work hard for our money and deserve to enjoy it. But by reducing how often you do it or even cutting out one coffee a day you can save.

2. Drive less, walk or use public transport

Petrol prices are through the roof, not to mention the cost of toll roads. Leave your car at home and walk more or better still use public transport.

Depending on how far you travel for work and other activities, you may save $6 in tolls and $8 in petrol.

Here you can save $14 in one day.

3. Meal prep instead of ordering takeaway

At the end of a busy day it can be easy to give in and purchase takeaway for dinner. Instead, spend at least one day a week preparing two different dishes for use during the week.

4. Call one bill provider and ask for a better deal

It can seem like a huge task to call all of your providers asking for a better deal, so just pick one, once a week, and try and reduce your overall costs.

You can save up to $20-$50 a month on your phone or electric bill by doing this.

5. Cancel one streaming service

Australia loves their streaming services so there is no need to cancel them all. Just get rid of one, the one you don't use as often as the others.

With streaming services costing anything from $4 per month to $20 per month, that's an easy way to save cash
