Coles Little Shop is back, with a festive twist
Coles has confirmed their popular 'Little Shop' collectables are back, with a fun, festive twist.
"We've created mini's of must-have Christmas items," Coles spokesperson Martine Alpins tells 9News.
For every $30 spent, customers will receive one Little Shop Christmas collectable to add to their collection.
Items include Christmas crackers, a gingerbread person, mince pies, pavolva and a tub of gingerbread ice cream.
That's just five collectables compared to 30 that formed a complete set of the previous series.

While children are sure to be excited at the prospect of more mini-collectables with a festive twist, parents may not be feeling the same sense of joy.
Although Coles can hardly be blamed for bringing back the popular promotion, owing to the success of the original series boosting the company's gross quarter earnings by five percent.
The campaign even had to be extended by a fortnight to allow enough times for families to complete their sets.
And who can forget the 'Little Shop Collectables' swapping parties and Facebook groups, not to mention the frantic phone calls between friends trying to find elusive items such as mini bananas and dishwashing powder.

"We'll be doing compulsory shopping at Coles just to get them for the grandkids," one shopper tells 9News upon hearing the news.
Woolworths, on the other hand, will be offering Christmas Pop Outs to entice shoppers to their stores this festive season.
Coles Christmas collectables will be available from December 7 until Christmas.
