Cheating husband forced into humiliating act after wife discovered affair

A cheating husband has been forced into a humiliating outfit and made to parade town after his wife discovered his affair.

Most spouses who find out their partner has been cheating opt to either split up or enter marriage or relationship counselling to work past the betrayal.

But one wife seems to have taken an alternate route, taking "revenge" on her unfaithful husband.

"Have you ever wanted to get even with your husband?" the scorned wife wrote in a controversial Facebook post.

"Well my husband was caught cheating but instead of divorce we made a deal. He must go out once a week wearing the most ridiculous outfits I can imagine."

Attached was a photo of her husband dressed in cropped pink and blue overalls with a matching pink hat and face mask.

He appeared to be part way through a bike ride, with a pink balloon and sign attached to the bike's handlebars.

"This is my desperate cheating husband's public punishment," the sign reads. "Please take a photo and share it with his wife."

The wife added in her Facebook post: "Do you think he's learning his lesson yet?"

However, not everyone was laughing along with her.

When the wife's post was shared to Reddit, many users called her out for her and her husband's "completely unhealthy relationship".

One told the couple to "just get divorced and save everyone some time and embarrassment."

Several also pointed out that though the husband's 'punishment' may be embarrassing, it didn't actually address the issue of his cheating.

Some Reddit users agreed that the wife's idea was entertaining but ultimately unhealthy, but others speculated there may have been another motive behind her 'punishment'.

Several people suggested the husband's outfit and public shaming might have been part of a sexual kink the couple shared.

They pointed out that the man's 'girly' overalls fit surprisingly well and may have been tailor made for him for that specific reason.
