When a woman from the UK set off on a month-long trip with her boyfriend she had no idea it would end with her discovering his cheating ways.

Emily Wilson, 20, from Lancashire, England, spent a month in Australia with her boyfriend of three years, only to find out that he had slept with someone else the night before they left.

The awful revelation came when she found a long stream of texts and snapchat messages between the pair on her boyfriend’s phone.

Timestamps showed that he had been texting the other girl the whole time he was in Australia with Wilson, sometimes even sending messages while laying beside her in bed.

His messages revealed that he had lied to the other girl, telling her he and Wilson had broken up and were on the trip “as mates”.

But Wilson got her revenge for the atrocious betrayal, taking photos of the messages before sharing them to social media and blasting her (now ex) boyfriend.

“IMAGINE going on holiday to Australia with your boyfriend of nearly 3 years only to find out the day you get back that he slept with someone else the night before you went,” she tweeted.

“And [he] was messaging her on his ‘2nd snapchat’ the whole time you were there lying next to him.”

Attached to the tweets were several photographs of messages Wilson’s boyfriend had sent the other girl, including many lies about Wilson being his ex.

“I’ve still got to go to Australia with my ex, we both know it’s just as mates,” one text read, “I’ll speak as much as I can at night and stuff babe xx.”

Another revealed his plans to continue with the girl when he returned to England, writing; “Once I’m back we can crack on properly.”

And the snapchat conversations were just as bad as he gushed to the girl about how he’s “rather be with [her]” and was “missing [her] lots”.

He even reassured the other girl that she was the one for him, writing in a snapchat message; “You got nothing to worry about, I fancy you and that’s all that matters babe.”

Also included in Wilson’s tweets were screenshots of a conversation between her and the other girl after Wilson contacted her to get the full story.

The other girl seemed reluctant to go into detail because she had “been through quite a lot recently”, but confessed that she and Wilson’s boyfriend had been “chatting for a while”.

But she insisted that when she found out Wilson and the man were still very much a couple she “went mad at him” and the two haven’t spoken since.

Wilson’s tweets, which she has since deleted, quickly went viral, with hundreds of people weighing in on the situation – and unfortunately for the boyfriend, there were very few on his side.

Twitter

“Some boys genuinely need to realise what’s in front of them,” one wrote.

Another retweeted Wilson’s tweets and added; “Can’t even think how she must be feeling, some men are vile.”

“Absolutely disgusting,” a third added.

Frankly, we think Wilson is well rid of him.
