Sanson Jr., who's been part of the show since the beginning playing Santi, chats to 9Honey about the new season while taking a stroll (and scroll) down memory lane, revisiting pivotal moments he's shared on Instagram that have shaped his life and career.

"That's me and Alex hanging out at the spas in Zetland. We lived in Zetland with my dad," he tells 9honey when shown a snap of the pair, who play half-brothers on the show.

"We just would go and play piggybacks in the spa," he recals.

In a moment millions of people right around the world can relate to, Sanson Jr celebrated having his braces removed with a smiley snap.

"I had some pretty messed up teeth before," he admitted with a chuckle. "They're still not great, but before they were even worse.

"I had my braces for like three years and finally took them off. Yeah, I was pretty stoked. HSC is a stressful time, but it was also a really formative time for me.

Reflecting on the announcement photo of his casting in Bump, Sanson Jr.'s excitement reverberates.

He describes it as a "life-changing moment".

"Acting was the dream since I was little, and I was a little afraid to admit it. It wasn't until year 12 really that I started saying I wanted to follow it after school," he admits.

"It's something that I've always had my eyes set on. I like to celebrate every win because it means a lot to me."

"That was in Peru," he says looking at the image above.

"We did the trek to Machu Picchu, and there were these beautiful flowers where they use face paint. I took a photo feeling like a Peruvian warrior," he shares with a smile, a testament to his adventurous spirit and appreciation for diverse cultures.
