Carlton's Ashton Moir takes his Olympian mum along to the Brownlows - and, he wasn't the only one joined by a family member
Some young AFL players turned up to this year's Brownlow Medal ceremony with their mums.
There were also other family bonds on display too - including fathers and daughters, as well as fathers and sons.
It all made for some sweet red carpet moments, including for a couple of Carlton stars.

Both 19-year-old Matthew Carroll and Ashton Moir, 20, proudly posed with their mums on their arm - Blues defender Carroll was with mother Suzanne, while forward Moir brought his mum Cynthia.
Cynthia, whose maiden name is Cameron, is an Olympian who represented Australia in Taekwondo at Sydney 2000, when the Perth-born sports star was just 20.
Now, just days after the 25th anniversary of the Sydney Olympic Games opening ceremony, the 45-year-old was beaming proudly as she walked her AFL playing son into the Brownlows.

Ashton often credits his mum for his success, saying she was meant to go to the 2004 Olympics in Greece "but decided to have me instead".
Ashton's mum and dad met in the 1990s through taekwondo and it's that background he says helped him develop his much talked about ambidextrous kicking style.
"I've been doing that since I first started kicking a footy, or any type of ball, a soccer ball," he told AFL's Gettable of kicking with both his right foot and his left foot.
"It's always been both feet, it's been really natural. Both mum and dad did Taekwondo when I was growing up, so they always had to use both feet.
"We were talking about it, it might be a little bit genetic.

"I practiced it a lot when I was younger and it has become second nature to me now."
Elsewhere, former AFL star Ben Cousins posed with his dad, AFL legend Bryan Cousins.
And former player Jason Akermanis brought along his daughter Charlotte Akermanis.
