Man rates girlfriend's looks while she stands behind him

A popular TikTok video series has stirred up debate about the importance of looks in a relationship.

In the video series, created by Raphael Aghahan who runs a TikTok channel @rafreacts3, the host shows seemingly random men photos of Instagram models and asks them to rate their looks out of ten while their girlfriends stand, positioned behind them, watching and listening intently.

In this most recent video the man rates the Instagram model a "solid 10" and says she is "wife material".

When asked if he is single, the man says he isn't. He has a girlfriend, whom he doesn't seem to realise is now standing behind him watching and listening to the entire thing.

Aghahan then asks the man to rate his girlfriend's looks and he says: "It has to be like four out of 10."

His girlfriend's face falls and he adds: "Yeah it's just a quick beat (hook up) and that's it."

Aghahan says to the man: "What would you do if I told you your girlfriend is right behind you?"

To which the man shakes his head and says: "No way".

This is when his girlfriend walks in front of him and attempts to slap him across the face.

"I would have done more than smack him," commented one woman.

TikTok users were quick to point out the 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend' in question have appeared in previous videos on the popular TikTok channel. While it is clearly staged, it has sparked debate about the importance of looks in a relationship.

"Uhm girls aren't just objects," commented one TikTok follower.

"His girlfriend better," said another.
