'Until next time Australia'

The stars of the Australian Open are starting to leave the country, jetting back to their homes across the US, Europe and beyond.

Paige Lorenze shared this snap on Instagram, showing off her and boyfriend Tommy Paul's many suitcases and her overflowing handbag as they headed to the airport to jet back home.

Lorenze captioned it with just four words: "Until next time Aus."

She also shared a tiny peek of what she and Paul got up to on their long-haul flight back to the US...

...he may be world No. 11, but that didn't stop Lorenze from whacking tennis pro boyfriend Paul in the face with a pillow as they sat down in business class for their long flight home.

Paul looked unimpressed in the clip, then broke into a cheeky smile before hitting Lorenze right back with his own pillow.

They may be famous, but these two still clearly still know how to have a laugh at their own expense.

Hidden detail that set this outfit apart

Morgan Riddle, girlfriend of US player Taylor Fritz, has revealed a hidden detail that set this outfit apart from all her other looks at the Australian Open - and fans totally missed it.

Sharing a vlog of her experience at the AO on YouTube, the American influencer revealed this white dress was the only thing she wore to the tournament that wasn't created by an Australian designer.

"This dress is from Odd Muse, which is London based," she explained.

"My other outfits for the week are all Australian brands ... but I had to wear white today and this was the only white thing I had."

True to her word, all of Riddle's other ensembles at the AO were created by local designers in a sweet nod to Australian fashion.

During the second week of competition, she appeared in a stunning white skirt and top set by Arcina Ori , which she accessorised with a burgundy handbag and gold and diamond jewellery.

But the best part of the look was revealed when she turned around...

With just two ties wrapped around her lower back, the top showed off Riddle's shoulders and helped her keep cool in the sweltering Melbourne heat.

Earlier in the tournament, she wowed in these two-piece sets that earned plenty of praise from her 425,000 Instagram followers.

She wore a stunning blue lace set from Sydney-born brand Benni paired with a Miu Miu bag and dainty jewellery, as well as a fiery red set from Sydney boutique I Am Delilah with a pair of classic black sunglasses.

Nick Kyrgios' powerful message for Djokovic

Nick Kyrgios' girlfriend Costeen Hatzi shared a sneaky snap of her tennis player beau behind the scenes wearing a Novak Djokovic shirt on Monday night.

Kyrgios threw his support behind the Serbian player after Djokovic boycotted on-court interviews on Sunday, following "offensive comments" from Nine presenter Tony Jones.

"It is putrid stuff," Kyrgios said of Jones' comments before girlfriend Hatzi uploaded this snap. "Tony Jones, you absolute flop."

Jones has since apologised for the remarks.

Female friendships in the spotlight

While the players take to the court, their partners have been mingling and female friendships have been the focus for Paige Lorenze, pictured here with Hannah Dal Sasso.

Lorenze is currently dating US player Tommy Paul and has been in Melbourne to support him, but when she's not sitting courtside she's been making time for the important women in her life, like Dal Sasso.

The duo even hosted an intimate lunch event on Monday in partnership with fashion lable Peppermayo.
