Guy makes a great point about his friends' photography skills, and the internet agrees

Perhaps no other phenomenon in history has drawn ire or proliferated think pieces like the selfie – but that's possibly for one simple reason: our friends are crap at snapping flattering photos of us.

And, now, 20-year-old university student Anthony Keeling is calling them out on it.

The model and University of Georgia student tweeted how unimpressed he was with his friends' photographic skills (or lack thereof) following a trip to the Bahamas:

"I am used to being in front of the camera, but I also know what looks good on camera and what doesn't – which really comes in handy when I'm behind the camera," he told Buzzfeed News.

"It sometimes even comes back to bite me in the ass because if I have to take the picture, I can't be in it."

And it's resonated with default friend photographers the world over, with the deeply unflattering shot of Keeling retweeted more than 23,000 times and liked almost 55,000 times at the time of writing.

Some have even shared their friends' photographic fails in response to Keeling's original tweet.
