AFL star Josh Daicos' fiancée Annalise Dalins hospitalised in health scare days after Brownlow Medal appearance

Just a week after she stole the spotlight at the Brownlow Medal, Annalise Dalins, the fiancée of AFL star Josh Daicos, has been taken to hospital following a health scare.

On Wednesday, the influencer shared a confronting photo of herself in recovery after suffering from a burst cyst and appendicitis.

In the photo she was seen eating an electrolyte ice block, with her doting partner sitting next to her smiling.

In the caption, she jested that that her partner would now be looking for a date to the upcoming Copeland Trophy event at The Crown Palladium in Melbourne on Friday.

"PSA: @joshdaicos looking for a Copeland date," the caption read.

"Taking a few days off. Ruptured cyst and appendicitis got me gooooodd!"

Dalins was the talk of the Brownlows after walking onto the carpet in a gorgeous teal gown.

She wore her hair in a bun and had natural makeup to not take away from the dress.

The couple, who got engaged in Greece last September, have postponed their wedding after initially aiming for a 2025 ceremony.

Annalise confirmed the couple were putting wedding planning on hold at Australian Fashion Week.

"We realised there's a lot that goes into a wedding and we're in no rush," she said.

"We've been caught up in our love bubble... I haven't even chosen a dress yet … but we can't wait."

The pair met at a bar on Melbourne's Chapel Street.

They had messaged on Instagram before, but they hadn't met in person until they happened to be at the same bar one night.

"As soon as I saw her, I saw her smile and it made it so easy to go over there and talk to her, and the conversation just flowed," the athlete told 9Honey at the 2024 Australian Open.

He described his finacée as "really warm as a person," he said they "hit it off pretty quick."

What started off as a "great chat" in a Melbourne bar turned into coffee the week after, and then an engagement three years later.
