Amazon’s backflip is good news for Australian shoppers
Black Friday sales are the undoubtedly the best time of year to snap up a bargain.
Australian retailers are finally getting on board and pumping out their own sales at the same time as the US, but there was a big issue with Amazon up until now.
On Thursday morning Amazon reversed its policy of blocking Australians from shopping on its American and international sites.
This means shoppers will be able to access products from around the world without being continually redirected to the Australian arm of Amazon, according to Finder.

Amazon Australia has launched their own range of Black Friday deals which are scheduled to start from 00:01 on Friday 23rd November and will last until 23:59 on Monday 26th November.
But the good news for shoppers is they won’t be limited to just one arm of the brand and instead can snap up some of the best deals from across the globe too.
It’s the perfect time to get a jump start on Christmas presents with deals across everything from games and electronics to toys and home tech.

Amazon Australia will be running 24-hour Deals of the Days along with ‘Lightening Deals’ which are available for a limited time and include a limited number of stock.
Customers are limited to one purchase per Lightening Deal and if it does sell out, shoppers can go on the wait list and be notified if more stock is released.
But now shoppers will be able to not only access these deals in Australia, but also in the US.
Black Friday is a massive day of shopping for Americans and only recently becoming a trend in Australia.
According to Finder only 1 in 5 Aussies plan on shopping during the sales, but they have estimated around $320 million will be spent.
