Noosa parents build amazing DIY cubby house for their toddler daughter

If you’re feeling dispirited by the property market, you might want to look away now.

At just three years of age, Queensland’s Millie-Belle Diamond owns the kind of home most of us can only dream of. 

...OK, so it’s technically a cubby house, but it’s still incredible.

“It HAD to be fit for a queen.”

The design was inspired by a cubby house Schye found in America, which looked like a mini Hamptons home but cost $20,000.

The materials for Millie-Belle’s playhouse cost around $5000 in total, with the majority sourced from Bunnings.

The three-metre-squared masterpiece, named ‘Palace MBD’ by its proud owner, is kitted out with everything from a mini vanity and exterior fairy lights to a rose garden.

Judging by the pictures posted on the three-year-old’s Instagram, she’s impressed with the result - as are her almost 160,000 followers.

“Ummm that’s nicer than my house right now,” one wrote.
