Aldi customers go wild for $180 camping cult buy

Aldi's summer camping Special Buy sale is here for the holidays, with an incredibly affordable 10-person tent set to be this year's next cult buy.

The German supermarket is selling a $179.99 10-person tent — the same price of its six-person tent which went viral in 2020.

The large camping tent includes insect-resistant mesh, fibreglass poles, three separate internal areas and power cord entry points for the perfect family getaway.

Customers went wild for the six-person version and the 10-person tent is sure to fly off the shelves when it is on sale on December 29.

Last year, the $179 six-person tent sold out in many stores around the country and customers were desperate to track down the special buy in time for their next camping trip.

Also on the list in Aldi's summer camping special buys is a three-metre Central Locking Gazebo for just $89.99, which is ideal for those long days at the park or the beach.

For $10 less, there's also the basic Gazebo Tent which is on sale for $79.99.

Aldi has a number of camping accessories in its summer specials catalogue, including a $29.99 queen air mattress, a $99 ice box and a $16.99 tent fan for those sweltering nights at the campsite.

There's also a $39.99 picnic backpack that features plates, cups and cutlery and a $24.99 premium camp chair on sale too.

Everything in Aldi's summer camping special buys range will be available from Wednesday, December 29.
