Father who doesn't like daughter's fiance doesn't dispel cheating rumour to get them to move out
Can we handle the truth? That's a question one father doesn't care to find out.
After an unfortunate discovery led the man's daughter to accuse her fiancé of cheating on her, he's decided not to say anything, despite knowing the truth behind the situation.
Posting on the Reddit forum "Am I The A--hole?", the man explains his 20-year-old daughter and her fiance are currently living with him and his wife.

Though he loves his daughter, the man admits he finds her "very difficult" and "can't stand her fiancé" and has given the pair a "deadline to move out" because he can't handle living with them anymore.
"They got into a massive fight the other day while my wife was out," he explains.
The catalyst for the argument was a pair of the man's wife's underwear; his daughter's discovery of the garment led her to believe her fiance was cheating on her.
"I think the fact she immediately jumped to cheating shows how bad their relationship is," the father says, adding that his daughter was "waving the underwear around" during the argument.,
Despite recognising they belonged to his wife, he just "let this ridiculous fight go on."

"My wife came home after about 30 minutes and said they were hers. My wife asked if I didn't realise they were hers and I accidentally laughed," he adds.
The situation reduced his daughter to tears and she has since refused to talk to her father.
Following the argument, the young couple left the house, with the daughter's fiance claiming the father and mother "were f----ed'.
However, the man says his wife thought the situation "was funny."
Garnering over 1,900 comments, the man's post has divided users, with most arguing that while his actions were unfair, they were justified.
The dad wonders whether he should've told his daughter the truth.
"I agree you're the a---hole but … had no obligation to confirm or deny. And it was hilarious," one writes.
"I'd like to say it's sad that the daughter and her bf's relationship is that bad, but I'm still smiling. The poster and his wife seem to have it right, though!" another comment reads.
Other users have celebrated the loving relationship the poster and his wife seem to have.
"The mum was laughing too. I think her and Hubby are the perfect couple though."
