Radio DJ publicly blasts AFL star ex after 'disrespectful' online swipe
Another AFL star has hit headlines for their actions away from the field.
Radio presenter Bridget Hustwaite has accused her ex-partner, Fremantle Dockers defender Oscar McDonald, of "blatant bullying and disrespect" towards her after his latest Instagram post.
Hustwaite, 34, has authored books How to Endo and Figuring Out 30, and claims that McDonald's recent post celebrating his 30th birthday included a dig at her.

The AFL player shared a number of photos of himself celebrating the milestone birthday with friends and family, captioning the carousel, "30. Tough age apparently."
The caption seemed to reference Hustwaite's book title, with friends and family also chiming in. His sister Sacha wrote, "Figured it out", while another added, "Better start writing a book about it".
The comments were made evident in an article that went up on Sunday March 22, which reached the Nova presenter after she was released from the hospital following treatment for a ruptured cyst causing a bowel obstruction.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Hustwaite said in a video, "I thought I was in for quite a peaceful day of recovery but I've been sent articles throughout the day of some social media posts that I can't access, because I have this person blocked on socials.

"I was going to ignore it because I don't like how this kind of conversation and topic can be trivialised for online consumption, like, regarding relationships.
"But I also can't really just sit back and allow, like, blatant bullying and disrespect of me and my work."
Hustwaite indicated that McDonald's actions could have an effect on his career.
"If you work in a public-facing role, and especially if you represent a brand organisation, a sporting club, this is not a good look on you, on who you work for, and it's just mean.
"I ended my relationship last year for reasons that are really serious to me ... for me it's much more serious than just airing dirty laundry," she clarified.
"I don't know why a birthday post had to be turned into just taking swipes at me but, you know, I'm not surprised.
"I just wanted to stand up for myself.
"I hope to have a more peaceful recovery and continue having like a really amazing year, regardless of this past week and these health things that have popped up for me. I'll be writing more, which I'm sure will be further ridiculed, but that's okay. I'm really happy with where I am."
The couple had dated for about ten years, meeting when McDonald played for Melbourne.
They later made the move to Fremantle in Western Australia in 2023 to support McDonald's career.

Hustwaite previously shared that she ended the relationship late last year to focus on her health and career.
Nine.com.au has contacted both McDonald and Hustwaite for comment.
The admission comes months after the AFL world was shaken with another off-pitch scandal involving Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale and his wife, Jules.
News of their split first hit headlines in December, when Jules publicly claimed that she had been "betrayed" after rumours circulated that she and Lachie were working through relationship issues.
"I want to make it very clear that I am not 'working through' anything," Jules said.
"I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
"All I can do now is to to heal and do what's best for my children."

Within days of the statement, Jules added fuel to speculation about what caused the split when she commented on a now-deleted post on former friend Tess' Instagram page.
"Take these down, you idiot, you're embarrassing yourself," Neale wrote under photos that showed her former best friend celebrating Lachie Neale's Brisbane Lions AFL Grand Final last September.
The images showed Tess, her husband Ben and the Neales on the field.
Tess' knee seemed to be touching Lachie Neale's, while their respective spouses stood to the other side.
The two couples were reportedly firm friends and often appeared on each other's social media accounts.
The ladies have since unfollowed each other and removed all traces of each other from their social media pages.
There has been no confirmation anything untoward happened between Tess and Lachie.
Lachie confirmed the separation while addressing the media in early January.
"I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry," he said.
Lachie added that he had to "accept" the consequences of his actions, but was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale because the wellbeing of their children remained their biggest priority.
