'Vile' note left on Sydney driver's windscreen

A furious Sydney resident has taken the issue of street parking into their own hands.
One visitor to Stanmore, in the city’s inner-west, returned to their car this week to find a dramatic sticker placed on their windscreen.

“This street is not a free corporate carpark for Bridge Road businesses or out of suburb commuters,” the pre-printed note read.
“It’s a residential street. People live and need to park here. The business you’re visiting is responsible for providing parking to you.
“If you’re not a resident or their guest, make other arrangements now.
“You’ve been told,” the sticker finished.

The driver, Ruby Teys, said she stopped in to see a relative and returned to find the sticker on her windscreen.
“It’s a huge public street. That kind of hostility is so unnecessary,” the young woman told nine.com.au.
“Yes, I understand it is annoying when you live in the city and can’t find a park at home BUT MY GOD – you don’t own the big public street,” she posted online.
“Vile.”
The response to the message was met with mixed reviews after it was shared on Twitter by user @pleasedontatme.
