You're sitting at home enjoying a quiet moment to yourself on the couch when you hear the sound of buzzing.

You get up and have a look around, checking out the window for a new wasps' nest or perhaps a fleet of passing motorbikes in the distance.

You find nothing.

But the buzzing continues, taunting you.

Then you realise the buzzing is coming from inside the house.

Not just inside the house, but above you.

It sounds like a terrible midday movie horror flick, but this was the reality for one poor woman in George, US.

Thankfully, she just happened to be mates with a beekeeper, and called him over to have a stickybeak.

He suited up, hopped up on the ladder and cut a chunk of the ceiling out only to reveal a true horror.

Yep. Bees.

All 120,000 of the little buzzers.

Apparently it took old mate six hours to vacuum the bees out of there.

Yeah, we didn't know there was such a thing as a bee vacuum cleaner, but there is.

They're so common there are even models that have inspirational slogans on them.
