The Walking Dead is getting roasted for crappy CGI deer

The Walking Dead fans are a passionate bunch – especially the ones who were with the franchise in the early comic book days.

Usually this is a good thing for producers of the hit AMC show, which has always enjoyed a loyal fanbase.

But such passion presents the creators of the show with a delicate balance to strike.

Because when you screw up just a tiny detail of the show, you can expect the once loving fans to transform into a merciless horde unleased on Twitter.

Sure, fans can get upset when their fave characters meet a gruesome death but it's a zombie apocalypse show so fans accept that people will be picked off.

What's unacceptable to fans?

Crappy CGI.

And when a new episode aired this week, we found out just how acceptable sub-par special effects are.

They ain't happy.

And you really don't want to anger Walking Dead fans, who tend to be a deeply sarcastic bunch.

So of course they responded by badly photoshopping their own deer into the scene, and it is highly amusing A-grade sass.

When you mess with the bull you get the horns, but when you mess with the deer, you get the painful sting of Twitter attacks.
