The Voice halts production amid coronavirus concerns

Production for The Voice has been temporarily postponed in line with new government protocols relating to the rapidly-spreading COVID-19 coronavirus, with Voice Coaches Kelly Rowland, Guy Sebastian and host Renee Bargh all currently overseas.

The show's Coaches would need to enter 14 days of self-isolation once they returned to Australia for the filming of the show, meaning that the delay will affect their ability to film should production go ahead as planned.

A Nine spokesperson has addressed the halt in production, saying, "the filming of The Voice has been temporarily postponed in the wake of the Coronavirus and new Government protocols."

"The show is still currently on track to begin airing in its originally planned timeframe, which will be announced in the coming months."
