Stray kitten crashes live news broadcast, melts hearts everywhere

Most people would be crash tackled into the ground if they walked on to a news set mid-broadcast but it turns out security rules don't apply if you're a stray kitten in Turkey.

Turkish news presenter Kudret Çelebioğlu was going through the newspaper headlines for the day on Good Morning Denizli when the stray snuck into the studio and jumped up on the desk.

Managing not to be overpowered by the extreme cuteness, Çelebioğlu carried on with his broadcast, reportedly telling viewers that winter was coming and encouraging them to feed and "keep their doors open" to strays.

Ever the professional, Çelebioğlu didn't skip a beat while the surprise feline walked around the desk, but had to call for production assistants to remove the cat after it curled up on his laptop.

But the cat wasn't just turfed back out on to the street.

In arguably their most important cat-related story of week, The Daily Sabah reported that the kitty was treated to a post-broadcast feed by the network's staff who named him Hüsnü.

The breakout breakfast television star is expected to retreat to a private life after being adopted by a crew member.
