Soldier allegedly steals tank from US army base
A US man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a tank from an army base and taking it on a joyride down a busy highway.
The unarmed armoured personnel carrier reached speeds of 60km/h as it barrelled down Interstate 95 in Virginia.
Witnesses filmed the tank being pursued by police.

The vehicle was allegedly stolen from Fort Pickett, a base of the Virginia Army National Guard, before being driven to downtown Richmond, an hour's drive away.
The driver then surrendered to State Police.
CBS6 reported the alleged thief is an active-duty soldier.
No charges have yet been laid.
