VIDEO: Skier learns a hard lesson about peer pressure

Remember all those school talks warning you not to give into peer pressure?

Well here's a video that could perhaps demonstrate the perils of doing what the crowd tells you better than a poorly-staged keg party scenario from the early ‘90s.

It features a skier who found himself in a sticky situation, perched atop a dangerous slope at Tuckerman Ravine, in New Hampshire, US.

A bunch of people, who are obviously not his true friends, shouted at him to tackle the tumultuous slope.

And despite everything this fella knows about skiing, and how much a dislocated knee would ruin his day, he took the metaphorical cigarette and lit it up.

He gave in.

And at first everything seems okay.

He's having a good time, he's impressing his friends and he seems to be remaining upright.

But then it all goes to pot.

Sure, he may have given the "I'm okay, folks" wave, but he just learned a hard lesson about following the crowd.
