Shark charges straight for cameraman during scuba dive
If you found this footage on a camera washed up on the beach, you’d expect the worst.
A massive shark charging at the lens really doesn’t look good.
But, thankfully, this isn’t someone’s last moments captured on camera.
The footage, shot on a GoPro camera, was taken from a bait scuba dive off the coast of Durban, South Africa.

The bloke holding the camera was with Elton Polly from White Shark Africa, and he’s ooooook folks.
The divers were underwater with a few Oceanic black tip sharks last week when one of them was startled.

“It charged right into the diver's head, knocking his mask off and the regulator from his mouth,” Polly said.
“These type of dives take place daily in that area.
“No one was injured and the shark was unharmed too.”
Phew.
