Greedy mum steals all the Halloween treats

Halloween is a brilliant festivity that brings out the fun-loving side of humanity... but it brings out the selfish, candy-grabbing side too.

YouTuber InternetLasers was away from home on Saturday night, but left out a table-full of goodies for trick-or-treaters passing through the neighbourhood with a note reading "Help yourself but be considerate!"

Security camera footage reveals almost everyone was considerate: taking a little bit of candy, and leaving plenty for the people who'd come along after them.

But wait. Then along came an "upstanding mother" (apparently dressed as a Playboy bunny), who loaded handful after handful of chocolate bars into her carry bag until there was nothing left for anyone.

Lady, you are way worse than any gory costume or horror movie.

Commenters on Reddit noted the worst part of the incident is that the woman's children weren't going to make off with all the candy until she greedily encouraged them to take everything — behaviour that earned her this award from InternetLasers:

While it's heartening not all the trick-or-treaters were so selfish, this experiment proves (yet again) that a tiny minority of jerks will always ruin everything for the rest of humanity.
