Parking warden gives guy a ticket for broken down car

Well this is a bit rough.

Brit Conrad Bennett had an absolute stinker of a day recently.

He was on his way to the shops in his car then the engine started smoke.

It didn't look good.

So he pulled the car over in a park to check things out.

That sucks – no one enjoys a broken down car.

But to add insult to injury, he was handed with a fine for roughly $85 when a council parking inspector followed him into the car park.

Bennett claims the parking guy even chimed in with a sarcastic "Merry Christmas" as he slapped the notice on his car's back window.

Obviously not a happy chappy, Bennett whipped out his phone and started filming a rant about the sitch.

The video has now gone viral, featuring on a bunch of major UK mastheads.

A spokesperson for Waverley Borough Council was quoted in The Mirror saying the council supported the officer for handing out the ticket.

"The car was parked over several bays and the officer was carrying out their duties according to the council's enforcement policy," they said.

Geez.

So old mate doesn't get any leeway for being unlucky then.
