There are some truly crappy pranksters out there.

Under the guise of “pranking” someone for online LOLs, some YouTubers seem to think they have a free pass to be awful, awful people.

Take this dad for example.

He thought it would be funny to trick his son into grabbing poo.

Luckily, he was swiftly smeared with the sloppy goo of justice.

But thankfully there are some wholesome pranksters out there, putting in time and effort to give people a good-natured laugh and a bit of harmless fun.

And that’s where people like Simon Laprise, from Montreal in Canada, come in.

Laprise has become the toast of the internet after sculpting a car out of snow on a street that was due to be cleared for a snowplough to come through.

In Canada, where snow is a legit logistical nightmare, people have to move their cars from designated zones to allow ploughs to come through and clear the roads.

Laprise told Lauren Strapagiel at Buzzfeed Canada he sculpted the snow car to “trick the snow removal guys”.

But it’s when the cops got involved that this prank really blew up.

Because it’s illegal to park in the path of a plough, they rocked up ready to bust someone.

Instead, they found a delightful snow-based prank and had a good laugh.

They left a ticket on the car:

It translates to “you made our night”.

It didn’t take long for the prank to go viral after Laprise posted it to Facebook, with the pictures clocking up more than 14,000 upvotes on Reddit and nearly 30,000 views on Imgur.

All that attention for some good, clean fun.

No-one was in danger, no-one was insulted and there was not a single poo in the equation.

See, you don’t have be a jerk to go viral.
