Man turns his skin into a mesmerising bodysuit of extremely satisfying patterns

We all love optical illusions, but probably not as much as this guy.

Because while many of us are content to just look up a few pages in an old Magic Eye book we have laying around, one fellow called Eric took it to the extreme.

Eric endured more than 180 hours of time under the needle to achieve this permanent bodysuit of visually satisfying tatts.

The guy wielding the needle was Parian tattooist Lewisink, who specialises in geometric inking. 

Eric travelled to Paris from Switzerland for the tatt, which was completed across 30 sessions, spanning over roughly 18 months.

"I have an enormous respect for Eric's dedication and strength, both physical and mental," the tattooist wrote on Instagram.

Video of the entire "body suit" notched up more than 40,000 views on Instagram, and that was after the original was taken down due to a nudity complaint.
