Breaking report: littlest news anchor reveals mum's big announcement

When South Dakota couple Max Jensen and wife Maren learned they were expecting their second kid, they recruited an actual news anchor to deliver the report to their family and friends.

Okay, so that anchor is their three-year-old son Carsten, and his news desk is just a table in their family home. But it still counts.

"Who better to share this 'breaking news' than the cutest member of our family?" wrote Maren on her blog, Midwest In Style.

Max is a journalist with KDLT News and Maren is a former broadcast journalist, so the couple thought it seemed like a good idea to get Carsten to make the announcement to get him into the news biz nice and early.
