Lily Tomlin reveals her strangest quarantine purchase
We all know the perils of online shopping, especially during periods of time in which we've been quarantined alone with our thoughts and desperate desire to learn to crochet.

It appears as though us non-celebs are not the only ones at the mercy of these online shopping sprees, with stars like Lily Tomlin admitting to her own impulse buys.

The Grace and Frankie star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss what life has been like for her and partner Jane during lockdown, telling the talk show host that she is "at home all the time — I go to the mailbox occasionally when I can't get my assistant Paul to go… so what do I do?"
"I have to cook, I have to order groceries, I have to disinfect them, I have to pray to God the guy who delivered them doesn't get sick," the comedian added.
Knowing how we have all succumbed to numerous unnecessary purchases over the last few months, DeGeneres then asked Tomlin if she has also made a few questionable buys.
"Lots of stuff, yeah," Tomlin responded with a laugh.
"You know, in a cold climate the snow builds up outside your door and you can't get your door open? Well, we have Amazon boxes outside our front door."

The 81-year-old then added, "I have to go around the other side of the house and take them off from the back," saying that it's a "full-time job".
When asked what the strangest thing she has ordered online is, Tomlin admitted one purchase would easily raise a few eyebrows.

"I didn't order this, my partner Jane ordered it, it's a lip plumper," she said coyly, showing DeGeneres how she thinks it's supposed to work by applying a small cap-like object to her lip and sucking in.
Tomlin also admitted that she had bought a balance board during lockdown to help her exercise: "It was late at night and I was vulnerable."
