It's not uncommon for someone to form an unnaturally strong attachment to something as a youngster.

For some people, it was a blanket or a teddie or even a black sheet of satin they refused to part with.

It wasn't just an object, but a source of comfort; a friend.

And that's what we think about when we see this cute little kitten clutching a piece of steak.

The ginger furball from Moscow, Russia was filmed clinging to the slab of raw meat, point blank refusing to let it go.

Despite its owners trying to remove the raw meat from the kitten's grasp, this little guy would not be parted from it.

Which is kind of sweet, in a way.

Except, of course, for the fact that this is a chunk of dead cow.
