Kim Jong-un’s face after Trump asks for pictures of them looking ‘thin and handsome’ is priceless

There were plenty of historical moments that took place on Tuesday’s summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un.

But this might be one of the most-entertaining of them all.

It’s footage taken just before the North Korean dictator sat down with the US president, but it may as well have been shot on the set of The Office.

Trump askes reporters to get pictures of the pair to make them look “nice and thin and handsome and perfect”.

Now, it’s understood that Kim can speak English – with rumours circulating that he learned the language during his time in a Swiss boarding school, achieving the minimum pass grade.

And his mate, former pro basketball player Dennis Rodman, confirmed that Kim “understands bits and pieces” of English during an interview with CNN.

So we can assume that he caught the gist of what Trump was saying, which makes this even better.

Just take a look at it again and drink in that unimpressed look from Kim.

Obviously, it became a meme almost immediately.

Ah yes, the scene it extremely amusing.

We mean, it’s almost enough to make you forget that a former reality TV star is leading the free world.

It’s even almost enough to make you forget that Kim is accused of committing horrific atrocities against his own people.

And it’s almost enough to make you forget that avoiding nuclear catastrophe could rest on the shoulders of these two men and that isn’t an NBC comedy but is, in fact, the current state of international politics right now.

Almost.
