Overheated husky puppy chills out in the fridge... literally
Huskies originated in chilly Siberia, where they were specially bred for thousands of years to develop thick enough coats to handle Arctic temperatures. ("Husky" comes from a word meaning "eskimo", FYI.)
But the dogs don't cope so well in the heat — poor Diesel, this four-month-old puppy, has squeezed himself into the fridge in an attempt to cool off.
No matter what Diesel's human Rosie Zuniga says, the miserable pup refuses to do anything but treat her to a fierce death stare.
While huskies can happily live just about anywhere, their owners are advised to keep an eye on the dogs when it gets hot to ensure they don't come down with heatstroke.
