Hungry dog sneakily swipes empanada

Any good food thief knows subtlety and a distraction is needed to pull off a heist of a delicious morsel.

And this dog is king when it comes to both.

The hungry canine has clearly allied himself with a local news journalist to distract some women from their fiercely guarded food store.

The hack – one Sebastian González – starts to interview the women about their empanada store, distracting them away from where some freshly cooked pastries are cooling on the now extinguished BBQ.

Enter doggo.

If you watch carefully you'll just see our Prince of Thieves swipe the delicious snack under the cooks' very noses.

The dog's impressive thievery has grabbed the attention of the online world – with 5,700 views on Facebook.
